“Women Inspiring Women”

OxFEST invite you to their 2nd annual symposium, “Women Inspiring Women”.

wiw-posterThe event will be held on Wednesday 6th of March (8th week), from 9 am – 5 pm at the Ship Street Centre in Jesus College. We are delighted to announce it will be FREE for all members, and £2 for non-members. Lunch and coffee breaks will also be included!

We are excited to be hosting a number of keynote speakers, as well as a panel discussion and workshops. We will have stalls at lunch from Shell, Barclays, Goldman Sachs, Entrepreneur First and JP Morgan.

Panel Discussion: “Using social media to raise the profile of women in science, from the past, present and future”

Panellists: Dr Lucy Rogers (blogger and engineer), Suzanne Holsomback (OUSU VP for Women), Charlotte Deane (Deputy Directory of Oxford’s Doctoral Training Centre) and Anne-Marie Imafidon (founder of Stemettes).



We are excited to announce we will be holding three different workshops in conjunction with The Careers Service and Shell. The workshops will be on: Goal Setting, Mentoring and Gender Differences in the Workplace.
