About the Speaker

Carolin Krenzer–Studio General Manager, King

Carolin Krenzer is a Studio General Manager at King. She joined the company in the summer of 2012 as the second staffer in King’s London studio with a creative mission at hand: to bring the studio’s first title concept called Farm Heroes Saga to life. Developed by a small yet inspired team, they set out to design the core game mechanics, fun characters and the world in which they reside, as well as features which focused on monetisation, retention and virality. Krenzer was the Executive Producer across all Farm Heroes Saga platforms and headed up a team of creatives, which consist of producers, designers, artists and developers and she was ultimately responsible for the reach and growth of the game as it launches in new markets (e.g. Korea, Japan).

Krenzer began her career in 2008 as a management consultant in the Financial Services department at Accenture, one of the world’s leading organizations providing management consulting, technology and outsourcing services, in their Munich, Germany branch. Following her time at Accenture, Krenzer joined EA Interactive/ Playfish, a developer of free-to-play social network games, as the Director of Product Management leading a team of five product managers. Also, Krenzer has vast international business experience having lived and worked in several countries including Brazil, China, Canada, France and Portugal.  She is multi-lingual speaking German, English, Portuguese, French and Spanish.
