Part of the OxFEST Workshop Series in Hilary Term 2015 is the Management Skills Challenge coorganized with Shell, which the company developed to give students an insight into the kind of skills they will need to be successful in the workplace. As well as taking part in a range of competitive challenges, there is also a reflection session that will help you identify your own strengths and development areas. Students who have participate in this exercise have also learnt some valuable lessons about how to perform best at assessment centres. Lots of technical companies, not just Shell, are looking for students to demonstrate the broader skills that this session develops.
All are welcome to attend, regardless of degree, year, or gender. The workshop will take place on Wednesday 25th February between 2pm and 4pm (venue TBC). The event is free for OxFEST members; a charge of £3 applies to non-members. Lifetime membership on the door is £6.
Interested? Please sign up by emailing Shuyu Lin, OxFEST Workshop Series Coordinator, on firstname.lastname@example.org. Priority will be given to OxFEST members.
